A New Approach to Search
Our approach to search blends experience and innovation. While the fundamentals of a great search remain – outstanding candidates, community engagement, clear communication, and seamless administrative support – we use new tools to evaluate candidates and help teams make better hiring decisions.
We have more than 25 years of experience in the executive search business and have worked with hundreds of independent schools across the country – large and small, urban and rural, religious and secular, boarding and day, coed and single-sex.
We are rethinking the way schools source and evaluate talent, tapping new networks and developing proprietary tools to help our clients maximize candidate insights. We dig deeper to help schools assess each applicant’s work ethic, integrity, leadership style, resilience, temperament, crisis response, and cultural fit – essential skills the long-term success of the appointee.

The Search Process
While there are a few tried-and-true elements of every successful search, we know that no two schools are alike. We are a small, nimble firm with the ability to tailor our approach to your timeline, budget, and leadership needs. Whether you are a trustee looking to plan a multi-year leadership transition or a Head of School seeking a few top candidates for a key role, we are confident we can serve you well. The best place to start is by scheduling a confidential call so we can learn more about your vision for the search and discuss your options.
